Last week I had the privilege of listening to celebrated teacher Anthony Armstrong throw down his approach to using wikis to open up the learning process with his middle school students. It was a powerful display of what can happen when creativity, technology, and a spirit of collaboration infuses the learning process. My favorite thing he said: "The singular goal of our assessment process is to not ask any questions our students can Google and find the answer."Tags for this entry:

Hey Scott, All last year I had a little gig where I taught teachers around Massachusetts about how to use wikis in instruction, along with a wonderful teacher from a local school. Now we get to be a part of a lot of those wiki groups.
These tools are an opportunity for us to open our practices to whole new ways of being in classrooms. Thanks for highlighting. Wikis are the ultimate democratic learning tool!
